The Newton Team was established in January 2008 and comprises of three of the four Anglican Parishes that serve the area, Emmanuel Wargrave, St. John the Baptist, Earlestown and St. Peter, Newton. The Newton Team Ministry is one of the only all women led Team Ministries in the Diocese of Liverpool.

The parishes are about the same size, each serving approximately a quarter of the town’s population, which is in the region of 25,000. To find out more click here.

Laura Montgomery joined the Newton Team as Curate following her ordination as Deacon.   Laura was a primary school teacher in Great Yarmouth and a Youth Worker in Liverpool before ordination training.  To see Laura on her ordination day click here. She can be seen on the far right of the picture.
